Jonathan Davis

My name is Jonathan Davis. I've had several labels thrown my way, and most of them are pretty on the nose. I consider myself a Social Democrat, but even then, that might be misleading. I believe in free enterprise and individual freedom, but I also believe in a responsibility the government has in making sure that those with less power aren't abused and exploited by those with more. I also carry the burden of knowledge that Ronald Reagan preached small government but had the largest in American history, and started the War on Drugs while letting the CIA sell them to fund his War on Communism. It's a difficult job, but someone has to take it on. I also know that most of Richard Nixon's policies were identical to Barack Obama's. I don't feel very represented, so maybe this class will let me represent myself.
