Eva Araya

I am a Voice Performance major and, because singing can be a rather unstable and low-paying gig, I am also a freelance writer, contributing to multiple magazines and blogs.

Needless to say, my political views fall far to the left.  It all started in elementary school--I went to a public school nicknamed "The Hippie School" in the Greenwich Village, the gayest neighborhood in the northeast.  Instead of learning simple math, we were assigned news stories on which to give presentations.

From then on, I was be so liberal that some might call me a socialist.
